There’s something quietly powerful about a group of ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things. Since 2013, Poynton Round Table has raised and donated an impressive £269,000 to local causes, making a real and lasting difference across the community.
Among their many contributions, one standout achievement is the £20,525 raised for Cheshire East Hospice, support that has helped provide vital care and comfort to those who need it most.
As the members themselves like to put it, it’s “not bad for a load of blokes from down the pub” which is a humble reminder that big impact often starts in the most unassuming places.
