Thanks to everyone who supported the annual Charity Bonfire and Fireworks at Poynton Pool on Saturday 8 November 2008, organised by Poynton and Hazel Grove Round Table. The Event was a great success (despite some wind and rain!), and we should have raised enough funds to replace the Community Minibus, which is showing its age after many years of sterling service. Thanks to you all for helping us to continue to provide a very valuable resource to the local Community. As always, any suggestions for how we can improve the Bonfire / Fireworks event in future years are very welcome; please email fireworksfeedback@poyntonroundtable.co.uk. One thing we must apologise for is our Fairground supplier who saw fit to try and relocate Blackpool to Poynton for the night so we’ll ensure that this is reined in for next year!
