I first sampled Poynton Round Table in March 2007, thinking I was joining some sort of cult or secret society, I was later disappointed to find that Round Table is neither of these but as long as I have signed up I may as well stick it out.

Hobbies

I’ll have a crack at anything sport wise, safe in the warped belief that I am of Olympic standard at anything I turn my hand to, needless to say I am always left feeling disappointed, my main handicap being lack of natural talent. Football (playing and watching) is my main passion, having said that I do swim 3 times a week but that is more out of necessity than a hobby due to my on going battle with excessive eating/drinking and the effects of these on my ample posterior.

Originate from Bramhall, moved to Preston for 4 years then to London for 9 years then moved back up North to Poynton where I have been since February 2005.

Finding out how poor I am at activities I would not have normally done.
Enjoying the odd half of mild now and again with good company
The knowledge that somehow through my enjoyment, the community will benefit.
