Poynton and District Round Table (www.poyntonroundtable.co.uk)

Thanks to everyone who supported the Bonfire and Fireworks at Poynton Pool on 3 November. It was another massive success in raising money for local charities, including Francis House. Recently we’ve been to Serenity for a massage to try and breathe life into our broken bodies after the Bonfire and also on a pubcrawl in Manchester, where responsible drinking was encouraged! This month is busy with the Santa Float where we take the dude in red round to everyone’s house in Poynton over 15 nights for all the children to meet him and get their Christmas requests in – please check out our website (www.poyntonroundtable.co.uk) for the dates and routes so you don’t miss him.

Six new young guys have joined since April but more are always welcome! In addition to having a laugh we also raise a significant amount for distribution to local good causes through the Poynton Bonfire and the Santa Float, so if you know of any local worthy causes that need specific assistance please get in touch (www.poyntonroundtable.co.uk).
