At Bruntwood Park - Indoors due to adverse wheather

 

BAZZA'S ARCHERY MATCH REPORT When PETE'S AWAY - BAZZA WILL PLAY.

Despite the rain we were all up for a night of archery, but just in case it rained again, we did it indoors instead and split into a groups over three targets.

It was good to see the newer members go for it and it was oh so good to see the Old Duffer do so well!

The smart money was on Simon, Alick and the two-Daves with MarkA busting a gut to do well. Alick regretted his zero arrow, as did one of the Daves!
If only - they shout!!

But these guys only shot it out for the minor prizes with the Old Duffer winning by a mile. It was indeed sweet revenge to beat KARL by a full 10 positions to make up for him getting me breathless (oh er Missus) at the Racquetball last year. So there's life left in the Old Dog yet !!!

The Chinese Banquet afterwards at the Imperial in Cheadle was superb.

So - all round - a great night - well it was for me !!!
