Pinelodge Family Weekend

Each year Poynton Round Table host a Family Weekend which has proved to be a very popular event, this event is open to anyone and is not exclusive to fellow tablers

On the 11-14 November 2005 we booked a number of wooden lodges within Darwin Forest Country Park in Derbyshire. Darwin Forest is set in 44 acres of woodland & has a heated indoor swimming pool, mini-golf, and tennis courts in addition to walks & bike rides, not to mention a pub!

Yes we made it!!!, at some stages I didn’t feel so confident but with the promise of a local brewery at the end of the walk, we made haste and by Saturday lunch we reached our destination!

Saturday night at the Colebrooks and the board games were out, with looks of bewilderment we had no idea what was being mimed!!!

Sunday soon came around and time for the farewell Sunday lunch.

Yes that’s Isabella destroying our hardened masculine Table image completely!!!
