Chairman's Weekend 2007

Date - 14th/15th/16th September

I've made arrangements for us to go to Llangollen in God's own country - the land of milk and honey (and Brain's SA!) - for an activity weekend. The intention is to leave on Friday morning (14th September) and return on Sunday afternoon (16th September) although the location has been chosen such that those that are working a half day or a full day on the Friday can easily catch up with us, plus you only pay for the activities that you do.

The itinerary:

Friday

Depart Poynton 9am
Arrive Llangollen lunchtime
pm Mountain bike hire - I will organise route in advance according to our abilities!

Saturday

AM Hovercraft Racing & Archery
PM Karting Grand Prix

Sunday

AM Mountain Quad Biking

We 're staying in a nice hotel in the centre of Llangollen (follow link
below) and I've laid on 7 twins for the weekend (ha ha) although this can easily be increased / decreased to suit our numbers. The hotel has a late bar plus there are lots of late night drinking establishments and restaurants in Llangollen, details of which I shall get in advance, so we will be well served for beer and food all weekend.

The total cost including B&B and all activities is £235, although if some want to duck out of the mountain biking (deduct £15) and / or the quad biking (deduct £35) to reduce the cost (or if you can't make on Friday) then we can sort this, just let me know.
